Starting Kindergarten is a big and exciting milestone—for both children and their families. At Chipping Norton Public School, we’re committed to making this transition a positive and nurturing experience.

Kinder Orientation for students starting school in 2026
Our onsite Kindergarten transition dates are detailed below:
Session One
Monday October 20 2025 from 9.30 - 11am.
Children will participate in a variety of fun activities in the Kindy rooms, whilst families will attend the Kindergarten Information Session in the Library.
Session Two
Wednesday October 29 2025 from 9.30 - 11am.
Children will participate in a variety of fun activities in the Kindy rooms, whilst families will attend the Kindergarten Information Session in the Library.
Children will receive a special Kindy Orientation booklet when they attend. The booklet is attached below.
Kindergarten Play Date
Thursday December 4 2025 from 9.30 - 11am.
Children will meet their Year 6 Buddies for 2026. Parents will attend this session with their children. This will be in the Hall and on the Oval.
