Wellbeing
At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.
How we support student wellbeing
At Chipping Norton Public School we offer a variety of strategies and programs to build a strong sense of wellbeing for ALL students.
- Chippo Champs – held fortnightly with students grouped as a K-6 with a teacher, not their own class teacher to engage in activities that build connectedness and a sense of belonging
- Mission Australia run weekly programs each term including Confident Kids, and Peaceful Kids for different age groups
- Music Mindfulness with Miss Louise
- Student Voice groups
- Wellbeing Hub is set up as a quieter, time out space for students to escape the playground with Air Hockey, magazines, board games, pool table
- School Counsellor support two days a week
